ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL

ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL

The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED-DSPSR) was established to promote, amongst the students of DSPSR, the culture of having their own start-up or becoming entrepreneurs. Its main objective is to inculcate the skills and knowledge required to become entrepreneurs in the student members of CED Cell, DSPSR.

Focus and Objectives of CED-DSPSR

  • Skill Development: The focus of CED-DSPSR is on skill development for entrepreneurship education and thus meeting the requirements of the industry.
  • Business Planning: CED Cell student members are taught how to make Business Plans for starting their own business.
  • Innovative Thinking: Students learn how to think out of the box and generate innovative ideas for their start-ups.
  • Funding Knowledge: Emphasis is placed on how to get funding for their Projects.
  • Government Policies: Students are made aware of the Government of India policies and various schemes providing funds to start-ups.

Many students of DSPSR, who were part of the CED Cell, have become entrepreneurs. Our college has an annual newsletter, solely dedicated to CED cell, Unnayan, which was inaugurated in February 2014 by Mr. Satyender Kumar Jain, a Cabinet Minister in the Government of NCT Delhi and a Politician from Aam Aadmi Party.
